Fendi Shoes

Looking at Fendi Shoes always made me think that this shoes is very feminine in color and style.. Most women's will love this kind of shoes especially those who are working in the office.

I was confused how did Fendi Shoes started and became famous... just found out some details.

Fendi began in 1918 when Adele Casagrande opened a leather and fur shop in Via del Plebiscito in central Rome. When Adele married Edoardo Fendi in1925, they made a decision to change the name to Fendi. The business prospered, and a new shop was opened in Via Piave in 1932. By 1946 Paola, 15, the eldest of the couple's five daughters, went to work for the firm, followed by her sisters Carla, Anna, Franca, and Alda.

In 1965 a marriage between the Fendis and German designer Karl Lagerfeld was sealed, and it proved to be fortuitous for both. Lagerfeld immediately created the inverted FF logo that joined the growing list of international status symbols, and then set about, aided and abetted by the sisters, to revolutionize the treatment of fur and other clothing.

What had once been a precious but stiff and heavy garment was transformed into a light, soft, easy-to-wear and above all flattering outfit. The team went on to invent new ways of working with fur, tanning, dying, and treating, and took previously unused skins and turned them into fashionable garments. By 1966 Fendi had presented its first couture fur collection, designed by Lagerfeld. It was an immediate success with foreign buyers. Marvin Traub, president of Bloomingdale's, discovered Fendi's leather goods and introduced them to the United States. Other outlets soon followed, and today Fendi is largely represented through high-end department stores.

In 1969 Fendi presented its first ready-to-wear fur collection at Palazzo Pitti in Florence, bringing continuously evolving techniques and imaginative designs to lower-priced furs without sacrificing quality. When the sisters could not find the fabric clothes they wanted to show under the furs their ready-to-wear line was born, again to great success.

The company's accessories are now found on the arm of many stars and signature bags such as the Spy, buckled B-bag, and embellished bucket bag are often in high demand sometimes creating long waiting lists.

Christian Dior was an influential French fashion designer. He was born in Granville, Manche, Normandy, France.

Under his parents' wishes he attended his parents Ecole des Sciences Politiques from 1920 to 1925. The family had hopes he would become a diplomat, but Dior only wished to be involved in the arts. Gucci Shoes

Here's some of the Gucci shoes that i love... they really are for dress shoes, cute and gorgeous when thy're on your feet.

Now let's take a look at how Gucci started... here's the history.

The House of Gucci was first created in 1906 in Florence, Italy. Founder and craftsman,
Guccio Gucci originally used the shop as an outlet for selling leather goods to horsemen. In 1938, Gucci opened the first retail shop in Rome. Gucci received much of its fame during the 1950's and 1960's under the supervision of Guccio Gucci’s two sons, Aldo and Rodolfo. During the 1950's, Gucci became a staple of elegance with the creation of luxury handbags, shoes, and luggage.

Gucci gained even more popularity in the 1960's when legendary stars, such as Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly were photographed wearing the classic styles. During this time, Gucci earned its reputation as a status symbol. In the 1980's, Gucci began to experience a regression in both popularity and sales. At this time, an Arab investment company was able to purchase 50 percent of the fashion company from Guccio Gucci’s grandson, Maurizio.

In 1990, Gucci once again began to regain its reputation as an important and vital part of the fashion industry when Tom Ford joined Gucci as a designer of womenswear. In 1994, Ford took over as the fashion empire’s creative director. Under Ford’s supervision, Gucci gained recognition for being a brand for the wealthy and glamorous. During this time, Gucci became known for producing high quality products, including luggage, jewelry, clothing, fragrances, and eyeglasses.

Prada Shoes

Since before i was struck by prada's shoes... they're unique and cool in designs. This shoes are my choice because i don't wear high heeled shoes.

Let's take a look at the founder and owner of this cool designs.

Fashion Designer Prada was founded in 1913 in Milan, Italy as a manufacturer of leather bags. What is known today as Prada is mostly the work of the founder's grand-daughter Miuccia Prada.

Prada is said to be the most prominent example of a new form of

Miuccia Prada, who is entirely in charge of the companies creative decisions, says she bases her decisions mostly on intuition. She is reported to be overly fussy about each detail of her design. It can happen that each product has to be changed over and over in order to come closest to Miucci Prada's initial idea. Her husband Patrizio Bertelli is the buisness-man behind Miuccia Prada. He is responsible for the commercial side of the products and the retail strategy. inward-directed luxury. While in the eighties luxury was explicitly displayed, today an understated luxury is sought, only recognizable by insiders. Thus, Prada clothes avoid very loud clouring and easily appealing appearences. They are described as cool, comfortable, pure, graceful, and minimalistic.
